Common Field: UNFOLDS

With Sergiu Chihaia, Sorin Dan Cojocaru, Mirela Ivanciu, Mircea Modreanu, Răzvan Neagoe, Alina Tudor and Silvia Trăistaru
Curated by Anne-Marie Lolea & Anamaria Grigor
The exhibition “Common Field: UNFOLDS” proposes a shared exploration of memory and materiality — an approach in which the works signed by Sergiu Chihaia, Sorin Dan Cojocaru, Mirela Ivanciu, Mircea Modreanu, Răzvan Neagoe, Alina Tudor and Silvia Trăistaru converge within a common conceptual field, each maintaining its own aesthetic and visual identity. The connection between the invited artists is not merely biographical, but a constitutive element of the “common field.” Pre-existing research and the exchange of ideas create a framework that allows difference to coexist. The exhibition thus becomes a meeting space — an open structure in which the works communicate through thematic echoes and material resonances.
